We are proud to have collaborated with our industry peers, on a paper showing that UK mortality for patients admitted to hospital with Covid-19 steadily reduced from 33% in March to 16% in July 2020.
The findings evidence that this is not simply due to change in patient characteristics, but is likely due to a combination of incremental treatment improvements. This demonstrates that the effects NYU colleagues previously found in a New York Health System, are replicated across an entire country with universal health coverage.
