Simon is the Managing Director of Methods Analytics, a data science and AI business with a healthcare specialism. He is focused on improving the use of information so decisions are based on evidence rather than anecdote and whim.

Simon leads the business, and supports product development and consulting projects with a thorough understanding of the possibilities afforded by modern data science methodologies. His domain knowledge covers Healthcare policy, data and the healthcare information landscape together with the realities of clinical practice.  His approach is driven by the focus on developing meaningful intelligence to enable understanding, debate and change. Simon initially worked as a junior surgeon in the NHS for 8 years before retraining in Health Economics and Health Policy.
